"I can’t say enough good things about Ashley and her Photo Bloom course. Before I found her, I’d been in business for 4 years and was struggling to get inquiries and book clients. "I started Stacey Toney Photography in 2018 predominately on a shoot-and-burn model. Local people were really excited, and the buzz around a new business in the area ran by a generally respected local resident lasted about 3 months. I had a great turn out for my underpriced and overworked first stab at the infamous “mini-session.” I had no shows and “can I pay you next pay day” clients, and I didn’t care...One day I was literally sitting and crying about the direction my little business was heading and ready to throw in the towel. I was aimlessly scrolling Facebook and an ad popped up from Ashley June that was promoting her free two week photography business course. I figured I’d give it a shot, bc it’s not like my time was full of sessions. That was in September of 2020. The first meeting I knew that this was meant for me. "I’ll be honest; I was a skeptic. I feel awkward about “selling,” and I’m an introvert and a BUSY mom who had been trying to fit my business into the corners and cracks of my life. My preferred style of photography is also a bit different than the classic lifestyle/portrait photography session. So I wasn’t sure how all of this would work for me, or if I could even bring myself to try the IPS model. BUT, I wasn’t getting the number or type of clients OR the income that I wanted, so I was willing to give it all a go.
